Howdy everyone!
Holy CRAPBASKETS. It has been a fuckin' week, y'all.
Hell. It's been a terrible MONTH.
But... We're not here for that. We're here today to CELEBRATE and BE HAPPY because Lord-o-Lord, we finally have the new, improved (to my standards), old-skool-lookin' Da12thKind Website!
I have spent an entire week busting my ass to try to get this project off of the ground and into a state wherein I can safely say that the website is ready for public viewing (and testing!).
That brings me to the first item on the list: I'm currently considering the website to be in the Public Testing Phase for two big reasons:
1.) The central background image is not done yet. I need to polish up the header and add more stuff to both sides, and then that'll be done.
2.) There are some things that I will have most definitely missed getting everything set up, including my templates and whatnot, so I want to make sure that any major issues can be found in the early stages before I have thousands of pages made.
3.) To build off of both of the previous points, the website background is titled "website bg - wip v1" or something like that, but once I finish the actual background image, I can have them link to just a simply-titled "website bg" which I can then update for each release cycle!
I will say that I feel that I should be grateful in some aspects for work being the absolute hellscape that it has been, as it has finally lit a fire under my ass for the first time since I went on hiatus this last fall. I am filled with bitterness and spite, and by the Gods above, I am going to get back into making videos for both my YouTube channel and this website!
With that fire burning, I finally got the website to the state it's in now, and it has actual content ready for viewing: my first Let's Play that was released under the then-freshly made second Da12thKind channel, which has been my home for content ever since.
I'm not sure how well the "blog" function in Quick 'n Easy Web Builder is, like, as in terms of "if I set this to a later date, does that mean it won't release until that date?" or whatever, but I'm just so glad to finally have something worth visiting up and running. I can finally kiss Wordpress goodbye and cancel my business plan with them!
Seriously. Thank you.
All of you.
